Exploring Identity and Migration in Norway

Research Study

You are invited to participate in this study that explores how high-skilled migrants in Norway experience changes in their identity. By participating, you’ll help us understand how personal background and social context influence identity formation.

The study is part of a master's thesis project. By participating, you’ll be contributing to the body of knowledge in the social sciences.

📢 Participants:

- Reside in Norway
(Trondheim or Oslo)- Can provide informed consent
(sign via BankID)- Are at least 25 years old- Have completed bachelor's/technical degree education or more- Can participate in an approx 60 min interview- Were born outside Norway

*Compensation is not provided. Registration info is stored for the duration of the study in compliance with GDPR regulations in Norway.

What happens next?

  1. You will receive an email within 1-2 days with a link to sign an informed consent via Posten.no using BankID.

  2. Check your Spam folder just in case :)

  3. Once the consent is signed, you will receive a subsequent email so you can select your preferred date and time for the interview based on your location (Trondheim/Oslo).

  4. Interview is completed.

  5. You may opt in to receive a copy of the final thesis and/or a summarized version of key findings.
